NEW ORLEANS, LA – Luxury womenswear brand, LAKAN is set to unveil its flagship studio in New Orleans’ Lower Garden District. The new studio will be the brand's first physical location, providing customers with immersive shopping experiences and in-person fittings for custom womenswear.  

Conceptualized by founder Lakan Golden, the studio’s interior design encapsulates the laissez-faire essence of the New Orleans culture, honoring the natural openness of the space while incorporating intimate spaces for conversation and thoughtful wardrobe curation.

 “The interior style of our studio can be described as a blend of mid-century and European antique elements, infused with organic modernism,” said founder, Lakan Golden. “The overall aesthetic is cohesive and harmonious, with soft flowing lines and a touch of sharp angles to add interest and dimension. This style is also reflected in our clothing designs, creating a cohesive and complementary brand experience.”

The LAKAN studio is a tribute to the cultural legacy of New Orleans, infusing the city’s rich heritage into the brand’s in-studio experiences.

The LAKAN studio will be home to a curated collection of women's suiting and separates, featuring both made-to-measure and ready-to-wear silhouettes. In-studio fittings and design experiences will be available by appointment only Monday-Friday with select availability on Saturdays.
