LAKAN proudly offers an exclusive, luxury womenswear experience for clients seeking a personalized approach to dressing. This bespoke process is a collaboration between founder Lakan Golden and each client, thoughtfully curating garments that complement individual lifestyles.
Working directly with Lakan, this experience reflects the artistry of custom women’s clothing, rooted in precision tailoring and refined craftsmanship. Within the studio, clients are welcomed into a distinguished environment designed for both bespoke and ready-to-wear wardrobing experiences.
I. The Process
Our custom clothing process is designed to guide you in selecting garments that enhance your personal style, silhouette, and lifestyle. An initial consultation—held in-studio or via video—establishes fit preferences, sizing, and detailed measurements, while introducing our signature silhouettes and luxury fabrics.
Made-to-measure garments are made in New York City and timelines vary based on the complexity of the garment. Once your custom pieces are ready, a follow-up fitting with Lakan (in-person or virtual) ensures a precise fit and allows for any final refinements.
II. The Collection
The LAKAN collection reflects a luxury women’s boutique offering, featuring a range of pre-designed silhouettes including tailored two-piece suits, double- and single-breasted jackets, trousers, vested shells, skirts, and shirts.
Every garment is produced in New York City by highly skilled master tailors under the direction of our in-house production team. Core silhouettes and tailored pieces incorporate intricate hand-finishing and elevated construction techniques, resulting in garments that embody highest quality of fit, form and function.
