A Note From Lakan: Introducing Fall Winter 2025

When I think about the LAKAN woman, I think about someone who moves seamlessly between worlds—work and home, celebration and quiet, public and private. This collection grew out of that rhythm. Each look is designed as a set, with the ease of separates but the presence of a full ensemble. It’s about giving her the freedom to step into her day with intention and to end it still feeling like herself.

Additionally, what drew me in this season was the dialogue between men's and women's wardrobes. A double-breasted suit echoes its heritage in menswear but is cut with a lightness that feels effortless on her frame. Shapes are clean, elongated, almost architectural, but softened with drape and movements. There's tailoring at the core, a nod to my menswear roots, but translated for her body and her pace.

The palette leans into natural restraint—warm ivory, soft khaki, brushed metallics, and deep textures.

What excites me is the range: a suede-like linen set that drapes with ease and feels effortless, a satin-faced organza coat that glows under evening light, a crushed velvet shawl that can be thrown on with irreverence and still feel like ceremony. It feels decidedly different than traditional custom women's suiting. Moving seamlessly from the dinner to the meeting, from the carpool line to the new gallery opening, these aren’t pieces meant for one moment—they’re meant for her life.

I'll be traveling quite a bit this fall between opening our new jewel box of a showroom in Dallas and hosting our first New York City trunk show. Stop in to see the collection in New Orleans or Dallas or book custom women's clothing consultation during an upcoming event here
